The Song begins
with the great song
from the Blue Whale
(the largest animal
on the planet). This
song is considered one
of the loudest sounds
on the planet, but runs
at a frequency that
to the Human ear sounds
like vibration. The
One Song beings with
the Blue Whale sharing
its orginial song with
us. Then comes in the
Blue Whale song sped
up by 10 so the human
ear can hear the song
more distinctly. Then
the blue whale is joined
by the songs of the
Humpback whales of both
the Southern & Northern
Hemisphere.

"Yiragir"

are then joined by the
Song offered from Luis
Walker.
Luis Walker offers a
special gift to this
years project with an
offering of Sacred chant,
spoken words, didgeridoo,
clapping sticks in this
powerful Yiragir song.
Also in the Yiragir
track is Flute played
by Elvina Munir.
The Song from Luis
Walker representing
the indigenous lineage
and understanding of
the relationship between
the water, the whales,
the earth and humanity.
He reminds us that all
Earth's creatures are
our Brothers and Sisters.
Luis’s people
still live very, very
close to the land. Their
relationship with Mother
Earth is very real and
deep. This song for
him is quite literally
a tender sharing between
him and his grandmother,
the great Whale. There
is no separation of
species in his being.
He is singing a song
with, to and for his
grandmother. Yiragir
(pronounced “Yirigi”)
is spoken a few times
in the track. This is
the name of the great
White Whale who is the
Creator in many of their
creation stories.
Lusi Walker’s
role in his traditions
and culture is to be
a bridge between the
wisdom and way of his
people with the western
world. In effect he
has been chosen to share
essence of the Aboriginal
‘Creation Song’
with the wider world
with the purpose of
bringing unity once
again to all the tribes.

Goa Lobaugh on the didgeridoo
and Cornflower on vocal
percussion and who also
leads the global ‘One
Song’.

then create a song tapestry
in preparing for the
uniting of global voices
in ‘One Song’.

from this place of ‘first
light dreaming’
and then uniting in
the One Song for all
the world to participate
